Marble, Colorado, nestled at 8000' in the spectacular Crystal River Valley has
enjoyed a long and rich history. The location, in the heart of the
White River National Forest, has more 14,000 foot mountain peaks
than any other part of the United States. The original Marble Quarry is 3.9 miles from Marble, Colorado by Jeep or foot. The Marble Quarry is a beautiful drive in the Yule Valley. The Crystal Mill was built over the Crystal River in 1892 to generate compressed air. The mill is one of the most photographed spots in Colorado. Lizard Lake is one of the most beautiful in the state, it is thought to be the crater of an old volcano of unknown depth; stocked with trout, 2 miles east of Marble, Colorado by jeep or foot. Lead King Basin has spectacular scenery, wild flowers and hiking trails. Redstone is 13 miles and 20 minutes from Marble, Colorado; now a designated historic site, this village of Victorian style homes was built by John C. Osgood in the 1880's as the "ideal community" for his coal workers. Presently a thriving artist's community and tourist town; home of the Redstone Inn. A beautiful 60 minute drive to the charming mountain town of Aspen, that has great shopping, outdoor hiking in areas such as Maroon Bells (most photographed mountain in the world), biking, gondola rides to the top of the mountain, and gourmet dining. Glenwood Springs is an easy 45-minute drive to river rafting and the famous Glenwood Hot Springs.

I would like to introduce the newest member of the family Aries. He is as of now a little over a year. He loves Marble as did Shane. He has made a big hole in our heart be filled again with joy. We love him so much!

As of December 28, 2004 our loving dog Shane died at the age of 14.5. He was a loving member of our family and a true lover of The Williams Family house. This site is in loving memory of Shane. 1990 - 2004
